As the stock kit makes more then that I would check your tune and how it was dynoed, there are alot of those kits on the market making good power.

Your numbers seem a bit low for the mods you have listed there, without seeing your car or the tune I cannot be for sure if the setup is jacked up.  I would think you have something installed wrong on your SC there.  What kind of boost PSI numbers are you  producing? Check your AF ratio as well.  I am not trying to bag your tuner at all, but sometimes the most basic things can totally screw up your numbers.  I would figure with your mods you should see RWHP in the 320 to 340 range pending tune and boost.  Either way let us know what you find out, I just read an article in MM&FF that recommended the supercharger you bought as the best one for the 2V 4.6L V8, hopefully you can work out the kinks.

I agree with the others, your numbers are too low, here is another Saleen's numbers with mods, not mine.

Chassis Dyno: 379 rwhp / 408 rwtq
Saleen S4 Twin Screw | SCT Xcal2 | JLT CAI | Accufab 75mm TB | SCT Big Air MAF | FRPP 42 lb Injectors | 03/04 Cobra Tank & Pumps | Bassani Catalytic X-Pipe | Magnaflow Cat-Back | Chicane Pulley | FRPP 3.73 Gears

You should do a lot then better then you are.

The A/F ratio is 12.4.Using a smaller Chicane 2.6" pulley.Max boost is 8.4psi.That seems low
especially for a smaller pulley. The dyno tuner is a well known Mustang tuner with lot's of years
experience.

I think i've hit 10 psi stock. I think you should be getting over that with a smaller pulley. Maybe 11 if i remember.

Bottom line its not the S/C, it was either installed wrong, tune is not good or something. NO ONE else with those mods and S/C are putting numbers that low..Get someone else to look at it. It would not hurt.

What was your baseline run?

Something must be wrong with the instal/tune.

My old 96 GT Vert with an Allen Roots Supercharger at 10lbs was putting down 320rwhp on a NON-PI motor.

When you find out what the problem is please let us know and edit some of your negative posts, I am sure this one is not on Saleen.

Make sure the all of your seals are air-tight.....I've heard of folks putting upgraded intercoolers on only to lose power afterwards.  When they problem shoot, the problem stems from their installs regarding vacuum leaks and non-sealed intakes.  May be why you are not maximizing your boost.

If you have to take the blower off and you have the time, you may wany port the manifold, it is supposed aid with A/F and HP, I hope you are able to find the problem.

They don't suck, something is wrong.  For comparison, my friend has almost your identical setup, a Saleen with a Series IV, 2.79 pulley (68mm), 90mm mass air, 75mm tb, 4" piping, and puts down 400+ at the wheel.

What did your car dyno at before you added the supercharger?
Check your sparkplugs for every cylinder, etc.

definetly something wrong with the instalation.my series 2 saleen blower with the chicane pulley .75 mm throtlle body.intake and bassani x pipe made 365 rwhp and 375 ftlb of torque without a profesional tune.running 11.5 /12.0 afr.12.4 is a litlle on the lean side for a supercharged engine.i had a vacuum leak between the blower and manifold and also between manifold and cylinder heads.so make sure the bolts are tight and gaskets are not damaged from the instalation causing a drop in boost.you should be making about 10-12 pounds of boost at wot.

Definitely not right.the boost seems low.i make 10-11 lbs of boost and i am running a near identical setup and made alot more power.my car untuned with a cai,373 gears,75mm throttle body, bassani catted xpipe made 332 rwhp untuned.so check your vacc line and also your a/f is lean, lean doesnt nessarily make more hp.richen it up and you will make safer power.also where iss he shifting it.these blowers need to be spun.i make 11 lbs at 6000 rpms.

I found this on another forum,
quote:

I would not recomnd using diablo software it has problems with the ford software and the idel, ive used both sct and diablo and im strongly recomending not using the diablo software, if you dont belive me call acfuab or check there website, www.accufabracing.com, they have built numerous mustangs and mustang tb's, and are very very aware of this problem with saleen/mustangs and diablo software, please take my advice and at least check with acfuab before you waste $500.
