Default Is this guy insane or what

I was checking out parts on ebay and came across this with the starting bid almost 5K I had to look.

That wheel had better magically give me insane amounts of Horse Power or make my mustang fly before I would pay that much.

I've been looking for that wheel for quite a while now. It was an exceptionally rare option only available on the Shelby. Just the horn button goes for almost a grand.
Not too keen on the restoration. There is no one making a repro of this wheel. So it's worth the money to someone who has a real Shelby. Since I've been watching over the last year or so, I've seen two that went for more than $6K. Beautiful condition originals.
If you read the book by Tom Corcoran Shelby Mustang you will see this wheel in very few of the pictures.
When you put it in perspective, a $150,000.00 original Shelby deserves a $6K steering wheel.

an original shelby part is pricey it being restored cuts some off but not much

I know that for some of us the price is insane however a original Shelby steering wheel unrestored go for about 3K
