Default 05+ 14" Brakes 18" Wheels in here

I have a 2006 SC281, 14" brakes.
I am not loving the factory 20's.
I want to put 18's on the car so that I can put drag radials on the rear. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY (in the sub $2500 range) will commit that thier wheels will fit over my brakes.

Who has 18's over thier 14" brakes? Pics?

Please help,

James

I would guess it to be nearly impossible. 14" disc breaks means at least 16+" with caliper, and 18" rims means at least 17-" on the inside, so you've got maybe .25 to .75 clearance under there.

all of the brake kits ive been looking at say you have to have atleast an 18 in wheel so im sure they would fit. i would go to a local tire shop and have them test fit a wheel that they might have on display. I had to do this before on a truck. If they want your business they will be happy to do it.
