Don't want to sound like I REALLY don't know what's going on, but I kind of don't. I bought a 92 AOD awhile back and the guy really didn't give me all the facts. Car runs great and everything but I'm not real sure of the total setup? It has a stall convertor set for around two grand and is set up with headers. My question is there anyway that I can tell what my gearing is set to without going the extra mile? Also other things, like I thought he said something about a chip but I'll be damned if I can find any "chip".

Just wondering if someone can take me under there wing here and help me out a little. I'm good at tinkering with cars, but I'm a little lost on this one.

Also if any one has any tips for me on this paticular car and setup I'd appreciate it. I haven't done the K&N thing yet, thinking about that? Right now I need to get some tires, so I'm working on that.

I'll see if I can get a pic in here.

Thanks in advance!

If you had a 5spd, I could tell you what gears you had by speed and RPM, but you have an AOD, I can't help you on that one. Chip is on the comp in pass side kick panel, and good tires are always a must

Jack the car up and mark the rear tire and driveshaft. (let me think. I havent done this in a long time.) Spin the tire 1 comlete rotation and count how many times the shaft spins. 3 and 3 1/4 times would be 3.73's and so on.
