Hi All! I am a new member in search of advice. I have a 95 GT that I have done the following to: Mahl 347 stroker kit bored .40 over w/probe pistons, twisted wedge heads, B303 cam, SCT custom chip, 75MM throttle body, 80mm mass air meter, GT40 uper and lower intake, BBK off road pipe with shorty headers, 24 lb injectors, cold air, MSD blaster coil, 9MM wires, 1:6 (intake)and 1:7 (exhaust)roller rockers, Tremec T5, king cobra clutch, alum fly wheel, 3:73 gears...I just got back from a dyno tune and at the rear wheels it did 282 HP and 323 torque @ 5100 RPM. I was expecting more. What combo do you think I have wrong or do you think it's just the lack of camholding it back.[:@]

Those numbers aren't bad and I actually did the same numbers after I installed a 5 psi SC. That was before my stroker, cam, heads, Pro M MAF, 42 lb. inj. Tremcc TKO 500 trans, which I shoudl have back together and to the tuner soon. I would say the cam could be a weak point.

302 parts make 302 power. You need to scrap the intake and cam. But even with those, you're still down on power.

Was it a Mustang Dyno?

Agreed. Even though, a 347 with those mods should be making more than that... Your TB is a bit big, a 70 would be a better choice. That's not gonna make the difference, though. Is your timing off maybe?

The dyno was an MD Mustang Dyno at D & G Dyno Tune in Hennessey, OK.

That's probably in the 310rwhp range on a Dynojet. Too bad you used a Mustang Dyno. It's all up to the operator. He could have simply entered the wrong weight for your car and your numbers would be off. Your numbers are worthless for comparision purposes.

But 310rwhp on a Dynojet probably is about right. I wouldn't expect you to make 1rwhp/ci with your parts. You're leaving a lot of power on the table.

Depends on what cam you're going to use. With the cam you've got you might as well not change. Ideally, I'd probablyrun something like a Holley or Victor 5.0.
