all of a sudden my engine on my 07 GT started grumbling as if it was missing. I must have been sitting at idle for almost 45 mins to an hour when it started doing this. It would miss or rumblefor a few seconds and than smooth out. It would continue to do this at idle. As soon as I touched the gas, no problem. When I got passed the traffic jam, no problems. Temp gauge read normal at all times. I'm not too sure what this was......any ideas?

Never idle a car that long. I'm not sure what happened, first thought was overheat but you did mention watching the gauge. Did you hear the fan run? If not have that checked. All I can say if you were stopped (parked) in that jam, shut it off.
Believe me, if I could have killed the engine I would have. However, we were moving at such a slow crawl, I was only able to take my foot off of the brake. There weren't any check engine lights or anything like that either. I'm not too sure of the fan, I'll look into it. I'm a bit worried.
well did you turn on your defrost or your heater. When the ac kicks on the egine does that. ITs a ford thing. i often make sure my defrost and fans are off and it doesnt do it. To test is let it idle and then turn on the defrost. See if it flutters again. Good luck

Sorry this doesn't relate to the problem, but it is in regards to the AC bogging the idle. When I was a bit younger and a whole lot dumber, I was sitting in my buddies driveway waiting for him. I was in the 96 talon that I owned at the time. I turned on the AC and it was the first time I realised that it drops your idle a bit. So long story short i experimented playing with other stuff that dropped the idle. I actually got the car to stall by maxxing the steering pump, turning on the ac to max, and pushing the brake ( i think) in all the way, over and over until the revs went up and down, more and more until the engine cut out. Oh to be young again, taking years off of the power steering pump. XD
