Gents,

in your opinion what's the best tire for traction in a 255/45/18 size?  I'm reading the Nitto 555, BFG KD and the Falken RT-615..... any comments or other suggestion.

I need a tire that will hook up with 435hp @ the rear wheels and want to keep my stock rims.  I dont believe I can go any bigger than the 255 size with the 18 x 8 stock bullits.

Thanks

You can never have too much power, just not enough traction.

I'd go with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's.   Hard to beat on the dry or wet.  Just don't try to run them in the snow

I would have but I can't comment on the nittos or falcons.  I find the goodyears to be a little squirmy feeling but they do grip great especially in the wet.

BF doesn't have a KD in that size.  You may also want to consider the bridgestone RE050A or the michelin pilot sport

Don't expect a whole lot of response from tire pro's on this forum. I have posted two requests in the last month or so for wheels that I need. No tire pro's have responded, kinda sucks.
