Hubby installed my quarter window louvers last weekend - they look awesome! (Not to mention, I swear they added 2 horsepower - 1 each!!)

I'm hearing some noise from them, a low buzzing as if they are rattling a bit - was wondering if anyone else had this happen? I've checked to see if they are loose, but those suckers are really on there! So I'm not sure what it is that's making the noise, but it's coming from both of them. They are the louvers from wheelskin.com.

I'll try to get some pics up this weekend! I also have my GT muffler on and love the sound it has!!

LOL - I promise, I'll get pics up this weekend!

I've checked them - they don't feel loose at all. Guess I need to just turn up the radio and not worry about it!

The sound you hear could be the sound of air going in between the louvers, much like that of a musical instrument. Now if we can determine the pitch it makes......just kidding.

I know, I know!! I didn't get a chance to get pics this weekend - the car was ultra-dirty and I just couldn't face putting up pics of it in that condition. Someone might think I'm an unfit 'Stang owner!!! Cleaned her up and will try taking some pics this week with the nicer weather.

I bought them from wheelskin.com - they came painted and were $185. They did an awesome job it was an exact match - minus the overspray on the back of the louvers. It's not noticeable from inside however, since my quarter windows were tinted pretty dark already. I've had lots of compliments on them and the change in visibility just took a little getting used to - I can still see out of them just fine.

Take it to a no touch car wash. I've got a general rule. The car gets washed at least once a week, period.

I can see out my louvers, but not very well. Just enough to make sure there isn't a car hiding behind them.
