Default Exhaust and HP

I have a 1997 Stang GT, I was wondering how it would sound with staright pipes and tips out the back, I was also wondering about underdrove pulleys and how many HP I would get from them..

Anyone else know any ways to boost HP without getting into the motor too much?

1997 Mustang GT
-Shorty Headers
-C&L Intake
-Flowmasters
-Steeda Shortthrow shifter
-75mm throttlebody
-projector halo headlights

wrong forum, but you should consider some gears. wont give you any power, but will greatly aid in acceleration!

Underdrive pulleys dont make anymorehp for you they just free up more power that the engine makes so you get more out of the engine. Like the a/c robs alot of power so it slows the a/c a bit so you will get more power to the ground.

AHHHHH! IT'S A GT! KILL HIM BOYS!
Just kiddin.
The A/C pump is disengagedby 3/4 peddle I believe so it doesn't matter at WOT for sure in any case.
However from my understanding the underdrive pulley simply frees up more engine power to go to the rear wheels by lessening overall parasitic losses from the driven utilities. Makes sense. There is also a larger pulley for the alternator that's cheaper if you don't want to mess with the crank pulley. Evidently it gives pretty good gains as well. If you slow the AC pump that's going to cause a problem with keeping the cab as cool as it would otherwise. Especially while sitting in traffic.
