How much stiffer are the Super Race spring from H&R than the race springs. And what are good shocks to use with them? Would the Heavy duty Bilstein shocks be enough, or would I need something better? Would the Tokico's be better? Would the Cobra R struts be best? and what would I pair those with? I just need to know, what would go best with those for the best price.

Here are the spring rate specs...

H&R Super Race Springs - 950-1050lb/in front,  260-300lb/in rear
H&R Race Springs - 750-850lb/in front, 260-280lb/in rear

Your choice should depend on the type of driving.  If it is a daily driver, I would definitely not go with the Super Race springs....  they are just too stiff for daily driving.

HD Bilsteins would be fine for the H&R Race... for the Super Race I would go with either the Bilstein MM Sport or Raced Valved shocks or Koni Double Adjustables.

Sincerely,

I plan on using the car as a daily driver, but I want some really good handling at the same time. How bumpy will the Super Race springs be? I had a friend that used to have some pretty stiff coilovers that you would bounce in your seat when you went over bumps. Girls used to complain about their chests hurting. But yeah, the Super Race springs would be wayyy too stiff?

I dont think bumpiness can be measured with words...

It is not going to be comfortable... at all...

How Big a drop will I get with my car. I have a 1997 Mustang GT Coupe. Manual transmission. I want to know if I NEED CC plates, I will probably get them anyway, but I just want to know if the amount I will be dropping will make me NEED them.

They lower about 1.25 inches.   At that drop, you'd have to try and get an alignment to see if you "NEED" plates.

Ford build tolerances vary from car to car... at 1.25 inches some Mustangs need them... some do not....

At 1.5 inches you definitely need them...   at 1 inch you can get by without them...

If you're putting in H&R Super Race springs (way to stiff for the street, designed for racing)... then I would definitely go with CC plates, whether you need them for alignment or not...
