+1 for the KB. They've got some new models out that are pretty nasty.

btw - cams and new heads are ALWAYS worth it. Plus youll sound mean as hell.

+1 to coiled serpant too. Longtubes and some 4.10s with that 6 speed will do you a great deal against those vettes.

most people i have talked to including shop owners say that headers just arne't worth the pain of the install on the 03-04 cobras, too much work since you have to unbolt the motor and either pull it or at least jack the rear of it in order to tip it forward enough to have access. a real PITA.

You could get a Whipple or a Kenne Bell. For a lot less you could have your stock Eaton ported by Stiegmeir Performance.

you have to pull the motor in the 03-04s to put on headers??

didnt know that one..

learn something new every day.

If I owned a terminator though, I'd still want headers haha, it would bother me if I didnt have them.

you don't have to pull it all the way, but you do have to at least un do the motor mounts so that the rear of the engine can be jacked up to tilt it far enough forward to have enough space to remove the manifolds and install headers, a few guys i know around here have done it. they said its the biggest PITA for the hp gain ever.

Since you have already upgraded the fuel system your next step is a twin screw s/c.

i would guess at 17 psi with the twin screw you should be right around the 600 mark maybe a little higher. Thats where i would like to be, just got to get that money together for the twin screw. tough now though i get to pay in for taxes and have a new baby due in a couple weeks.

Blownsvt i have herd a lot about the headers being a hard project thats kind of why i have been staying away from that idea.  I just got done putting on a set on my friends 99 gt vert and it took 9 hours and we had to lift the engine 5 or 6 inches.  Has anyone herd the numbers on cam swaps and how hard it is? Thanks

you can get a whipple for 2833.00+shipping now. Not a bad deal, plus you need a bap and injectors and a maf meter if you dont already have one. Prob ended up being close to $4k.

well i didn't want to read all the reply but, I would go ported blower(if you don't want to upgrade to a better blower) and nitrous.  Obviously you will have to upgrade your heat exchanger as well.

spray175 has the whipple, but as far as the differences in power it depends on what size you get. as long as the sizes are the same the numbers are pretty close to the same for the kb- whipple.

A kb will out-power a whipple by maybe 20hp at same boost levels. Cant go wrong either way.
