Default 18 or 20 inch

All

I want your alls opinions. The masses can't be wrong. I looking for some wheels either 18 or 20 inch wheels. My car will never racing on the 1/4 mile, I do some stop light to stop light racing and just love to go fast. In your opinion what size wheel would you go with? Thanks.

Its up to you. I've seen both sizes and they can both look good if you pick the right wheel.

Well I think 20 look really good on our cars (I have a 06 saleen with 7 spoke stock 20's) they look great.

But bottom line they will slow you down, some where in the 10-15rwhp range

just my 2 cents of course, but I personally like the way 18s look on our cars. Dont get me wrong, Ive seen some 20s and they can look amazing. But I likethe 18s best

18 imo, good size, good performance, lighter, cheaper tires when switching, etc...

I have 20" Foose Nitrous and I could not possibly be happier. In my opinion, the larger wheels look a lot more aggressive. If I bought 18s, I would always wonder how 20's would have looked later on.

And all this talk about the bigger wheels slowing you down....yeah maybe there is some tiny difference in the 1/4 mile...but I can't tell a difference at all on the street. My car still feels fast as hell....and I don't even have a tune yet. The 20s are kinda heavy yeah, but the 17s I pulled off the car were no light weight racing wheels either.

Also, don't go by pictures when you pick out a wheel size. Go look at one in person. The wheels look a lot different when you are actually standing next to the car.

I have 17's. the upgrade to 18's was too much for nothing. 20's are great, but you loose some...
maybe I'll get some 20's when I have money to spend, but for now, I'm satisfied with my 17's.
I'd say, if you have the cash and want to spend it: go for the 20's!!!

20's...especially if you lower it (which I still want to do). You lose horsepower doing it, but like you said, you aren't going to the drag strip. In the end, pick whatever YOU like the most. Even if everyone else thinks one thing is cool, you'll kick yourself if you hate it in the end.
