This weekend my dad bought XM Radio for his truck.   After driving his truck to work today, I'm convinced that I want it.   And, as it'll be our second radio, I can get if or $6.99/month instead of $12.99 under the Family Plan.

I know this is a bit off topic for a Mustang forum.   Does anyone else here have it?  Do you like it and think it's worth the monthly fee?

I really think I want it; probably going to buy the extra reciever tomorrow.

I had sirius for a while in my old car and got rid of it when I got the mustang. I miss it...a lot... It is pretty easy to get hooked to.... I'm pretty sure i'm going to hook it back up in the stang.
But back to your question... Yeah XM or any sat radio is worth it... I listened to XM for a three day trial... I liked it alot as well. Alot of variety... good music... can't beat it....

My dad has sirrius in his volvo and I really like it. I have heard of a possible merger between the two and that might further lower subscribtion cost.

The merger should be done by 2008. I have XM  in all of my cars and love it. The only thing is that I got the Sportcaster to go between my Ranger and Mustang and it sucks. I'm looking for a different radio now. No one has put out a good one for XM, Sirrus has better looking radios. I only got mine for Nascar and now they went to Sirrus. I hope they do Merge.....

I ordered it the other day; the radio should be here by Friday to be installed this weekend.   I got the RoadyXT receiver, which is a decent looking one.  It was the cheapest, besides the AGT Sportscaster, which I didn't want.

I can't wait.  I've driven my dad's truck whenever I could for the past few days, and I absolutely love his XM.

Still not sure exactly where I'm going to place it in the Stang, though.   I'll figure something out.
