Hi everyone... I was about to order the AFE Intake Stage 1 for my 2007 mustang but noticed that it doesn't say that it had been tested for a 2007. Does anyone have one for a 2007 mustang yet? I am looking to get an intake that does not require a tune but give's the best sound and throttle response. If it does not fit, does anyone have any other recommendations as far as another brand to get?

http://www.wmsracing.com/wmsweb/05hvi.htmdefinately the wms ram air intake, no tune or modifications needed, 20 hp easy, they have em for the v6 and gt, the v6 is one FINALLY out. when i wanted to buy it, it was on back order so i got an AEM instead. It's a bit pricey but you dont have to tune it, and it will give u the power of an intake with a tune. If you cant afford that, go with the AEM brute force easy ten horsepower and amazing sound taking off. dont let anyone tell you different wms is the best and does not need a tune

I think the AEM would be fine for me right now since I will be adding (most likely) the dual Flowmaster exhaust and JBA Headers as well at roughly the same time. I haven't previously owned any mustangs prior to the '07... so my question is this -- Will the AEM fit the '07 correctly and street legal in California?

Just called about it, doesn't seem like it's been "approved" for 07's yet... hmmm.

yea the aem should work in the 07 it is the same car and engine, if ur getting an exhaust and headers then yea go with the aem, it sounds real nice and best bang for the buck power, it comes with a heating shield, and a silicone piece that mounts to the throttle body, those are two expensive parts, AEM doesnt fool around they give u the best. I'd say AEM all the way

Thanks! Sounds like AEM is the way to go right now up until maybe 2-3 years then I might step everything up another notch.
I am also going to get a MRT Exhaust along with the JBA headers to start off.
Once again thanks for the input ;)
