well i got off work and there was some kids hangen around in the parking lot and the kid with the tib was askin questions about my car and i said it was just about all stock. he wanted to race. so we went to an un used street and we lined up his friend threw his hands down, my launch was really slow because i was affraid to spin my tires. but anyways i was ahead of him by about 1 half of a car up to about 75. untill we shut down.

they are pretty snappy cars specially with the 6 speed.

They run mid 15's stock. Much better than the 17's they used to run.

I raced one once... from a stop to about 90mph I was 4 cars on him.

it was probibly a 4cil or just a really bad driver.

no.. I just know how to launch my car very well, and it has really good top-end. I also ripped my friend's '94 GT 5spd a new one several times by a few cars up to 85-90mph, even when I had a passenger in the car with me (I'm not advocating street racing, btw).

YOU guys dont fall asleep waiting for the other car to get half way or farther down the track when you bracket race? Oh yeah, a 16 second car , oh never mind...

Allblack was close.... Okay behind the scenes. runin bracket races, sometimes a 9-12 sec car will have to run a 24-15 second car. So while the slower car walks its merry way down the track, the faster one is sittin there getting hot waiting and praying for a green. So hence the term falling asleep waiting on the slower car. I dont mean to say that all of you guys have slow cars. Hell I have cars that are slow. It is alot easier for the slower car to win agaisnt a faster car, if he snoozes at the tree, or breaks out trying to catch someone who is at the 1000ft mark when he starts. 15 - 12 isnt so bad, that is only abour half track or so. but runnin a car that is ten seconds slower than you are, is not for the weak minded, cause he can still beat you in a bracket race.
