I have a 2003 V6 and i'm running on 18x9 and 18x10 saleen rims. I purchased the eibach sportline kit (2" drop) and also the bilstein shocks and strut package. How does this setup sound? Is that enough to give me a comfortable ride with the aggressive stance and look? I was thinking about subframe connectors but i'm not sure if its necessary.
The Eibach Sportlines will give you a really nice drop. At almost 2 inches, they provide one of the lowest drops out of all the other reputable spring manufacturers. Bilsteins will provide a nice ride quality, even though your car is quite a bit lowered... they'll help dampen the suspension movement, and smoothen out the higher spring rate...
Subframe connectors will help stiffen your chassis. The Ford Mustang chassis is not the most rigid chassis of newer vehicles... putting in Subframe connectors sort of creates a psuedo "uni-body" car... They help eliminate rattling, improve the feel of the car, and improves launching...
