Default 2004 Mustang GT Convertible Stereo Question

Alright guys, here goes.

I recently bought a 2004 Mustang GT Convertible and I'm looking to put a nice sound system in it. I bought a In-Dash DVD player today (great deal, couldn't pass it up) and now I"m looking to replace the front and back speakers as well as get an amp and a sub or two for the trunk. Now the only problem is that is don't want to lose all my trunk space as I travel and need the trunk for luggage and transporting things around.

Any suggestions as far as what to get would be greatly appreciated.

I can take my sub out when I need to transport stuff, Just don't get it bolted down and mark your 2 wires.

That's cool, but I'm planning a trip from Florida to Illinois and I'd like to be able to have the sub still in the trunk when we're heading up there.

The amount he would spend on a mach100 would be much better spent elsewhere. There is a reason people are putting them up for sale.. And you can have a small sub box enclosure made to fit specs of your sub..
PReal and ttocs and some others can give some great advice.. But you really need to give an amount you are looking to spend so they can give you some suggestions..

I'm really looking to spend under $1000 for 4 speakers, a sub (maybe 2) and an amp.

I just bought 4 Pioneer 240 Watt 3 Way Speakers for my GT. All I have left is a Subwoofer and 4 Channel Amp. Any suggestions?

Can you return the speakers..... Regardless of what you paid you can do better for the money.

I would do this:

Amp http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/435185x 4 at 4 ohms$150

Front Comps (Will sound much much better then your 3 ways) http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=5207$100

Sub http://www.tcsounds.com/tc1000.htmGet the 12" single 4 ohm vc. $120

For another $50 you can get your wiring and I'll give you $30 to build your box.

The total cost is only $450!!! and it will blow most setups for te same price out of the water!

Wow, that's awesome. I'm really considering the Amp and Sub. Thanks a lot.

Please for the love of God return those crappy 3 ways and get a comp set. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!! If all else fails just power them by the deck as rear fill (even though rear fill is pointless)
