No its down all the way. They actually do not have a seamless look to them. Some people, myself included thought they did, until one day when i went out and relooked because i told someone they did. But nope, its exactly as the picture shows, a bit off i tihnk also, but bad ass looking none the less.
I think you are right. That is a nice car. I love the color. I think my favorite GM color is the Daytona Sunset Orange, of course I'm partial to "odd" colors.

The hood is really bad ass, just don't like how the bottom "snouts" flow into the hood. Something seems just a bit off.
If your talking about pewter's pic from above, I think his hood isn't snapped down all the way. Because the WS6's I've seen up close had a nice seamless flow from the bottom vents to the hood/hood vents.

Hmm.......that's odd. Maybe the one that I looked at a little while back had an aftermarket hood or frontend?.........or some kind of alteration? The nose/hood fit was really good on those. The car did have a fair amount of aftermarket alterations/mods.......so its possible they tweaked or changed the frontend some kind of way.

It was probably a Firehawk. The firehawks have a different hood that make the lower snout seam perfectly into the upper snout. However, the Firehawk upper ram air snout is not as raised as the WS6 hood.
I am torn between a Mac and a PC. I think I will go to a Mac forum and ask for opinions.
MrRogers - we've had our run-ins and I know you are a solid dude, but if you think asking people from the Street and Strip section of Mustang Forums their opinion on whether to buy a Camaro or a Mustnag is "solid market reserach", then you have been sucking a crack pipe while hitting your head with a hammer.
You are extremely arrogant. I did not ask "Which one should I buy" I asked "why did you choose the mustang over the camaro"

Hmmm I don't see why everyone loves the hood so much it looks like a cheap piece of **** to me just like all the other scoops Pontiac puts on all their cars.

I like it because it truly is unique. I have never seen another car with a style hood like the WS6 has, and it has a in your face feel about it. It makes the firebird look like its pissed off and wants to get in a bar room brawl with a bunch of drunken irishmen.

The hood just makes the car look mean. Look at an older t/a and it's stupid looking - then next to a black or a red WS6 with that hood, it just looks sick....
I got a Mustang because i've been a ford guy forever... nothing can compete with the modular motor sound. The look of it, the feel of it. In the end, I just liked "the drive" more...

That's the same question I saw as well...

My creaky cloth interior sucks. There, I said it. My g/f's leather interior in her Camaro is definitely nicer but still not great. That being said, I can't understand anyone, especially a man, who puts a car's interior that makes him feel all warm and fuzzy and whatnot ahead of the engine on his list of priorities. Maybe I'm just a retrosexual car guy, but that seriously blows my mind. [/soapbox]

Because I spend 1.5+ hours in my car each day and would like to be comfortable. I'm not going to be uncomfortable just to make up the difference between the 3V and the LS1. I don't race to work. But come on Tommy, at least I got the GT and not the sixer...

I have owned Camaro, TA, and Mustang. There are reasons, only 1 of these is available new today.
Yes, female buyers. Especially those who like V6 Mustangs because they're "cute." Lime, the 3V wasn't an option when I was shopping. Things may have been different if it was.

i test drove both a 3.4L 1997 camaro and then my 2001 3.8L mustang...the mustang felt better and since my family has been a ford family, i felt like a traitor in that chebby it also ran like it had been threw off a cliff; i dont the 3.4L are any good but the 4.3L are pretty nice
It could not have been a 1997. The 1996+ came with the 3.8L.
must have been a 95 then because i know it was a late model and it was an odd number...
98--We get the idea. You love your car. Stop flooding this and every other thread with how much you love it, how much better it is, and how everyone else is wrong to have other opinions, regardless of the truth or falsehood of any statements made. Also, you are crazy if you think any Fbody handles better than all Mustangs. I would rape you through the twisties, even with 200hp less, guarantee it. . Then again, you'd rape me on the straights...for now.
Honestly, **** you. I still think you're full of **** on everything you've ever said about your car and I will continue to do so until you provide any shred of proof otherwise. Go buy a damn camera for crying out loud.
I'm sure your car will be faster than mine someday, at least, on the internet it will be. Afterall, you can still run 180mph with a 6.43 geared 300hp car...I can't compete with that ****.
And yes, stock for stock, the 3rd/4th gen f-bodies handle better....
