Dude, can you say SMOKE the Vette. If it is stock and unmolested you will crush him. Those things were gutless and  S  L  O  W ! ! ! now if he has some work done to it, a bigger cam, headers, good heads, intake etc, you are gonna feel the pain. Otherwise, he is yours for the taking!

There was this dumb kid in high school a few years back who had a 1984 Corvette and he would always make fun of SHOs and 5.0s untill the day that he got smoked so god damn bad you shoulda seen his face.  Those things only have like 190 horspower or something and really are only good at handleing.  So no way will he blow past you.  Most likly you will be in front if you dont burn out too bad.  We used to beat the dude like at least by 5-10 cars in a SHO. Taurus vs Vette lol  . Is is a 305 or 350 ? Either way you shouldnt have a problem

Unless ol, 91LX cant drive well, it will be a Ford in the lead.  If the kid in the Vette spends all of $1200 in the right places, you wont have a chance. That is all it takes to get one of those into the low 12's. But I seriously doubt he knows what parts to get.. Funny thing is its not an aftermarket head that will do it!
