All here is a link to a video I made of today's event. Thanks again flewbyu! Unfortunately we did not stay for the movie but all the members of our club had a blast!

http://media.putfile.com/Mid-Atlantic-Mustang-Cruise-4707-19

Thanks for posting the movie! I wish there was a way to download it. I realized after I got home and looked at the pictures I took they just didn't do the event justice. The movie really captured it.

By the way, we were mentioned in the Baltimore Sun today! Here is a link to the article on-line. http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/local/bal-md.mustang08apr08,0,3813824.story?coll=bal-local-headlines

flewbyu,

I wanted to personally thank you for putting this together.  I had a great time!

It was also nice to meet many of you who post on this forum.  Please let me know if any shows or pony rides come up in the future...

Cheers,
Scott

Thanks Scott and to all of you guys who took time out of a Saturday to brave the cold temps and "fears" of snow to take part in this cruise. Later (not today) I will post pics, etc. jbailer beat me to posting the news paper link but I think it is a pretty good write up. Wish we would have had more pics put I'll take it any day.
http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/local/bal-md.mustang08apr08,0,3813824.story?coll=bal-local-headlines

102 is the official count! This is the most at one time, people joined the cruise or left on and off during the day but the peak total was 102.

Pretty much except for the cold temps and a little mix up with one stop the cruise went pretty smoothly. The sun came out and the roads dried up like nothing ever happend. I have got no less than 53 request to do a summer cruise so the tops can come off and everyone can feel the heat. I wonder what heat feels like?? Oh yeah, Monday it was like 80 degrees I think ha ha. What a difference a few days make. The next cruise there will be more time between stops so there is no need to rush to get there, more time at stops so there will be more time to mingle and annoucements before we leave a stop to make sure everyone knows where we are going if they do not have updated info. Once again great suggestions from those who want the cruise to get better and better each time! Many thanks to you.

Congrats to
Best In Show winner Ron Smith!
Meanest Sounding Mustang winner Brian Wolf!

Best Cruise Promotion winner GOATKILER! ( who funny enough left just prior to winning lol) Pm me your address man so I can send you your award.

As I mentioned I will post some pics as soon as I get some time to edit them.

One of the funniest things that happened was when we were at the Senator. We were presenting the awards and were at the front door listening to Scott Donahoo talk when this dirty, dusty, ragged, Honda Civic hatchback went by and revved his engine a bunch of times and everyone bursted out lauging! That was the funniest thing. I am laughing now just thinking about that. Everyone laughed like "yeah right" They were not crazy enough to stop, he kept right on going. (good idea he would never live down 100 Mustangs whipping up on him)

God that was funny!

Once more let me thank the following people who donated cash to help with this event. Some screen names, some real.

The event was great, simply amazing, and yes, I ALMOST didn't come, but then the powers that be would NEVER have let me live it down so I too showed all be it at the last min.

It was alot of fun it was good to see everyone again, and hang out. We definitly need to do it again some time SOON.

Man that was the best so far and I'm looking forward to it if we have one this summer. Thank You for all the hard work you put into setting this up. The food, the Senator and everything else that went into it. I had a BLAST and it was good to put faces to screen names and enjoy all the other STANGS there.

George

Great pics and videos everyone. We both had a lot of fun on the cruise (our first). We had to leave early after arriving at the Senator because Saturday was our anniversary and our kids wanted to take us to dinner so we had to get back to Virginia. Sorry we missed the last part, but it was definitely worth the trip to MD.

Thanks again Flewbyu for organizing a great day!

I heard someone talking about an Ocean City cruise when we were at one of the stops Saturday. We would definitely be into doing that, since we have a place in OC and go there all the time. Cruising across the Bay Bridge and down Rte 50 into OC with a bunch of other Stang lovers is definitely my idea of a good time!

I had a awesome time and Walker you did a wonderful job setting this cruise up. THANK YOU!  It was awesome seeing all those stangs on the beltway and it was neat seeing the Senator theatre for the first time. If anyone is interested in another cruise on June 1, 2007 C.J. Pony Parts in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is having a Pony Trails Cruise through the scenic back roads of PA and they usually get over 100 stangs. They are located at 7481 Allentown Blvd. Harrisburg, PA 17112. After the cruise everyone usually heads to the Carlisle Fairgrounds for the All-Ford Nationals. See ya there. Here's some pics from the cruise. http://www.mustangclubofmd.com/phpgallery/v/MCOMMembers/ssp+mustang/2007/?g2_fromNavId=x8afaa506

Can't Make OC as the week before that a few friends and I are riding our Bikes down to OC then to Norfolk, then to OBX, then home.  Annual thing we do just 4 of us or so.  But the Cruise in Harrisburg I think I can make I'll need to contact CJ Pony Parts and get more details.
