Have either of you called BMR on this??? I just got off the phone with JASON over at BMR and he's saying the bushing could be bad on my LCA's. If you call BMR ask to speak to Jason and tell him that I've talked to him about this exact same problem. I'm pulling my car apart "AGAIN" to inspect the bushing, but other then that I dont' know what else to do.
i do have the BMR relocation brackets. . . but my arms are Spohn. i've emailed them and am awaiting a response. i'm impatient so i'll wait a few more minutes and call them.
don't you just love doing all this work three, maybe four times! just think of all the other more useful things you could be doing: saving the world, rescuing little children from natural disasters, baking a cake, sailing, etc.

Im glad this thread got revived.
Al, I installed adj LCA's to my lowered car. But I did not get the relocation brackets. My LCA angle is lower in the front like you said it would be w/o the brackets. My question is, if I install the brackets now, will I need to redo the alignment?

There is nothing to align in the rear unless your control arms are adjustable, then you will want to make sure that your rearend isnt cockeyed and that you are driving sideways down the road.

Yeah, he clearly missed that little bit of info. Check your other post, you don't have to be a genius to get the rear axle straight.

Lol.
I just hate putting the alignment heads on my wheels. Such a pita. Installed and aligned when I had my winter wheels on and the heads go on those just fine. But a good idea I imagine.
I was hoping for the answer that the brackets will not change anything on the alignent, other than level of LCA's

The brackets will most likely change the rearend alignment.

nope, not me, but that sounds EXACTLY right: kickout is what it's doing! so what are you recommending to aleviate this kicking? i know i need the adjustable panhard bar, but i didn't realize i needed to do all of this stuff at once. hindsight. but at the same time, why wouldn't these products say "we recommend you also install the upper control arms and adjustable panhard bar and panhard bar brace and [you get the idea] when you use our LCAs/brackets/etc."???

I recommend you check your rear axle to make sure it's straight before worrying about wether it's not centered. Not being centered isn't going to cause nearly as much issue as it being crooked will.
I'm willing to bet one wheel is further forward than the other.

Vendors themselves are seldom very forthcoming about what you should install in addition to what you are ordering. That's why we come to websites like this. I know I'm planning on doing the whole sha-bang at once as far as my suspension overhaul.....but I am getting some help too. As lowered as your car is northy I'd definitely recommend you getting an adjustable panhard bar on there if you haven't yet. Your rear axle may not be properly centered with such a significant drop.........which would definitely cause you some problems during hard acceleration. While you're at it, might as well put an aftermarket panhard brace in there to help keep everything tight back there.
Once you get it all on there, get the whole car realigned. Then see how it rolls.

Ok I am curious as to why simply installing LCA Relocation/Anti Squat brackets would make the rear end be crooked. If your LCA are fixed length why would the rear end get crooked with the Brackets??

Something I just remembered, With rear wheels off and axle on jack stands, where is the axle center. Should be under bump stops. Mine was way off and pushing everything rearward until I shortened the LCA length. Don't think the Spohns are pre measured.

ahhh, now i see. you only had to say it 47 times for it to finally sink in. i'll take a look with the tape measure tonight. thanks moosestang!
altho what Richard said is what i'm thinking: why would the rear end be crooked?
ThisBlood: it may look like it's really dropped but it's an illusion cause of those crazy 20s on there. it's only on sport springs which is an inch or so drop. but there is an adjustable panhard in my future [and maybe some fuzzy dice].
Because the brackets aren't perfect and the stock mounts weren't perfect, add the two together and my axle was off about 1/2 inch.
