Just put my 18x9's on 245 on the front and 275 on the rear. Well, first 5 minutes were fine, only went up to about 40 mph, cause I was in the city. Well after I got out of the city hittin speeds about 45, the steering wheel started shaking left to right pretty noticeable. After getting up to about 55 it went went away a tad bit, then slowing back down it returned. Not sure the problem... All lug nuts are tight, and the shop was supposed to have balanced them.
I have the same problem right now. Between 50 and 60 I get a vibration in the steering wheel. Any faster or any slower and it goes away. My guess is that the wheels need balancing. Going to take mine to the dealer next week (flying out of town this weekend) and have them check that out. I will post my results on here for ya.
After further diagnosing the problem (driving, lol) I noticed that it ONLY does it when you put pressure on the wheel (such as trying to turn) and slowing down (putting more pressure on the front tires I assume?). Anyone have any idea what this could be? Bent rim, unbalanced tire, in need of an alignment?

Could be from a balance issue. Also could be from aftermarket rim not fitting flush up against the brake rotor. These small clips need to be removed from each stud. Grab a pair of sidecutters and yank em off! Stock wheels are different, theres a gap thats there so the clip doesnt hit it. Aftermarket wheels tend to be flush.
