ok i found this sound clip its a sixer wit pypes x pipe and idk what kinda mufflers............i think mine sounds almost the same wit the trumpting effect which i hate...........would a h pipe eliminate this or puttin high flow cats on?
if i had to bet, removing the MAC mufflers will stop that trumpting...and what do you know, you have MACs aswell.

Yeah, mac doesnt really sound like that. It's too quiet on there. I think MACs are fine as long as you get everything of the cats and front done right.

Sound clip isn't working for me either but I can tell you the Pypes Catted X withtheir Violator Series mufflers(what I have on my 00 v6)sounds like an Infiniti G35 coupe only a bit deeper in the mid-range. Mufflers are going to have the biggest effect on the sound.
