Im new to the whole DOHC thing. And im woundering what i need to do to put a 03 cobra supercharger on my 99 cobra. I know that i need the charger and intercooler and proable a programmer what else? I also would like to know if it would be safe to run @ like 8-10 psi.

I'm not sure if everything will line up but even if so, i'll be the first to tell you the eaton (sometimes refered to as "heaton") supercharger is fairly inefficent for making boost and putting a KB on and it could potentially be cheaper and reap greater hp numbers. Besides you get everything in a nice little kit

Yes the factory 03 s/c is known for heat. The engine could handle 10lbs no prob. It'll handle about 500 horses without needing any engine work done. you might want to think about some bigger fuel injectors though, wouldnt want all that power with no fuel. thats my 2 cents.

im not a cobra expert but i belive u need the heads from a donor dohc s/c the intake manifold injectors fuel pump complete front accesories correct me if im wrong

its nowhere as simple as you would think, u need about the whole front half of an 03 engine, its far easier/cheaper to buy a vortech or procharger. There have been about 1000 of these threads over at svtperformance and everyone that tried to do it ended up with nightmares.
