<FONT face="Courier New, Courier, mono" color=blue size=2>Hi. Gee...I don't even know where to start. I own a 1979 Cobra. It is a work in progress...a lot of work. I'm having trouble finding parts for it. It is not old enough to ba a classic but not new enough to be current, but I still think it is the best...even though it needs work. I begining to wonder if it is even a "normal" modle or if it has had work done to it. Someone said they had never heard of a '79 cobra...and my parts search doesnt help much. It has automatic locks, rear window wiper/defroster, cruise, and other features that make it very unique. If anyone knows more about my car or knows where I can find good parts please let me know. Welcome to the site. I'm new here too. I used to own an '80 Cobra (wish I still had that car), so yes, they did make a '79 Cobra also. I don't recall running across alot of information about them. I've seen them listed in a few Mustang books. Does yours have the turbo 4 or the 302?

It needs some work though and this will be the first time I have even taken on a project like this...I'm thinking I want to swap the engin out and get a new one to put in it while I rebild the original...but I'm not sure. What did you have in yours?</FONT></P>
<FONT face="Courier New, Courier, mono" color=blue size=2>My Cobra is Flame orange with black striping. The decals need either replacing or a custom painting...I'm trying to come up with my own unique design for that.</FONT>
