Default 17" Bullitt tire size

I have a set of 17" bullitt rims and I was wondering what the optimal size tire is for performance and handling. These are the stock rims that come with 01-04 GT's. Thanks.

If your rims are 7" wide then 255/50-17, If your rims are 8" wide 275/40-17

You can use 255/45-17 in front and rear with the 8" rim.
