Be aware of the new firebirds sw6 I think?  Is it sw6 or something like that?

Huh? There is no new Firebird & you are thinking of a WS6.

JMCC, you must be mistaken when you think a LS1 WS6 is nothing special. They can make the same HP a ported Eaton with full bolt-ons can make NA with a head/cam swap, not to mention how well they hook up @ the track & handle on a road course...

Anyway, nice car. Looks familiar, except for the wheels.

how much would it be to have a supercharger ported and a 2.80 pulley put on and tuned. and is there a shop that would do all of these?

Ported Eatons run around $500, 2.8 pulley + idlers will run you over $250, tune will run you 500 for handheld & tune. Heat exchanger will run you $300 or so.

It's all so simple to do, I wouldn't pay anybody to install these mods besides getting a dyno tune..

Nice Terminator, dude! Yeah, just so you're in the know: talking stock versus stock here, the Terminator beats an '02 Camaro SS and an '02 Firebird WS6 by a HUGE margin. I know cuz I've run against each in mine. If the driver's right on cue, a Terminator can beat a C5 Z06. I've done this before with like 4 different 2001-04 Z06's, not to mention one of my buddies has an '04 Z06. I've also been known to put a few Porsches to shame ... Don't ask me if they were Turbos or the GT2 or whatever, cuz I can never tell the difference between them by looking at the side. Obviously, they probably weren't the GT2, but it's ALWAYS loads of fun to put to shame some middle-aged Porsche owner who is TRYING to race his $80K+ substitute for viagra.

You'll find that other muscle car owners are cool and will give props to you. Just watch out for those stupid WRX STI and Evo drivers. If you beat them, they're sore losers and will continue to pester you until they "win" with a fly-by as you're trying to exit the highway. So gay.

Stock for stock in a perfect world, C5 Z06 will outrun a 03/04 every time.

Also the 03-04 is forced induction and neither the SS or the WS6 are, so comparing the two is like apples and oranges.

Supercharge either of those with the SAME psi and whatnot as the cobra, and the cobra will get raped.

^^ Let's not open up that can of worms.. O and yeah, PSI for PSI, alright.. let's go run 20 psi on each stock motor and see who wins

Disclaimer: Watch out for shrapnel in the form of an LS1.

this is true, but i still give it to those ls1's hci and they are 600 flywheel hp, the termy will do that with port work and a pulley and tune, but still its impressive both ways.

Well jackass, I never said anything about a supercharger giving anything extra cubes.

And its idiots like you, who drive their cobras and believe they are the king of the road and invincible to every other thing with an engine, that gives mustang owners, or any muscle car owner period, a bad name. Cobras a decent cars, but they are by NO means the fastest thing on the road, and there are other american cars that are... guess what?... FASTER! So get a life and dont you dare think, that just because I dont have my head up my ass and think im the fastest thing on the road, that I should sell my car.

Also how is me saying that an Ls1 gives a cobra stiff competition being "ungrateful"? Dont be a moron.

And to everyone else, why hate on other domestic cars, when every day imports are taking over our contry more and more.
Hell, Dale Jarret drives a f-ing toyota now.

Respect ALL cars for what they're worth, dont talk out of your ass, and remember your NOT the fastest thing out there. Period.

Look cock tease. You said it was unfair for the LS1 because the cobra's are blown. Quit whining you pussy. Base price for base price when they first came out are even. Each in the 30's. Which puts them in the same category. And, oh no, guess what. Cobra > LS1. Now go be productive and drink cyanide.
