Saleen called today and said the car was in final inspection in Troy. This means the paint's done and it'll be on a truck in a day or two bound for Irvine, where the Watts link will be installed.

Everything looks good for an April 4/5 delivery. Hah to all you "custom paint takes forever" naysayers!

I order my sc281 convertible 2/14/07 i just picked it up 3/24/07. and damn this car is sweet

And for those skeptics such as yourself, here is a photo of my actual car, which as I write is on the truck from Troy to Irvine for the Watts link install. Barring a hideous highway accident enroute, 10:00 April 5 pickup looks pretty solid:

Topspeed.......clearly what we have here is a case of Hijackamus Threadomous. While this species of responses mimics the flying fish (i.e. caught in a spell of confusion, wondering if it's a fish or a bird, or in your case, wondering if it's a response to the thread....or starting a new thread), it rarely garners responses worthy of its intent
