what are some cheap, quick and easy mods that can be done to an engine to add power, or effeciency?  i know that a good air filter helps greatly, but are there any other things that do more of the same?

the basics, intake (new filter or CAI) exhaust, synthetic oil will give you a few more HP (like 2 or 3 at the most) most of these could be done for under 100 bucks, i consider that a small mod. just basic things can boost horsepower as well, things like fuel additives, throttle body cleaning, another thing that might add a few extra ponies would be a high flow catalytic converter, or just take it out completely but thats illegal

lol whats the point of merely hollowing them?  didnt wanna rip into the pipes?  if you're not running proper cats you might as well just saw the rest off cause they dont just look to see if u got cats, its about what comes out the ass that matters.
