Ususally the other young guys pull up next to me in their 200 hp Honda with an air pipe and a fart can thinkin they can take a "40 year old antique"... HAHA!! The left half of my engine makes more horse power and twice as much torque as any import out there, it gets more than a second look from them when they finally catch up at the next stop light...

Compliments all the time. Except every once in a while some GM or Dodge freak will make a nasty comment about the color of my car. My fav compliments are the ones that come from elderly folks and from my own kids. When one of my kids asks me to pick them up from school and before they hang up they say "can you bring the classic"? I get a huge smile on my face. They dig the new GT vert as well, but sometimes they want to get a ride home (in front of their friends) in the "Powerful Mach 1". When some senoir citizens starts a conversation with me over my car I really enjoy talking with them. But I have to admit. I really enjoy when you drive down the road on a summer evening, and watch all the passerbys stop and turn to look at your car. Sometimes you catch them pointing and telling there friends to turn around and look. Its really cool. And think about how many guys have suffered severe manhood shrinkage as they are waiting for a traffic light in their Honda mini van, with their family inside watching a Disnet DVD and you pull up along side in your classic machine. The cam loping at 600rpm curb idle and the dual exhaust pulsating through the 21 gauge sheet metal of the Honda. And thats all before the light turns green!
