Racing Stripes-- what size (in) to get?
 

I'm getting some silver racing stripes for my '00 stang, and was wondering what width (in inches) I should buy. I don't want them very small, but not HUGE. Kinda in the middle.

MD-- kinda like your size, are those 9"?

Any help is appreciated. :)

That's what I was thinking. I think the 12" are just TOO big... and the 6-7" were kinda small.

I'll probably go with those 9" then.

Although, they do look good. When I see racing stripes I usually look to get blown out of the water.

Mine are 10" with a 2" space.

I like MD's so I would say get what he has :D. I wouldn't go any bigger maybe a little smaller if anything. Post some pics when you get it done.

I can't afford performance mods, so I want to make her look a bit different.

Everyone and their mom has bought a black stang here within the last... 3 months... so I want mine to be kinda unique.

I know how you feel....well, the last part anyway...I buy performance parts like a whore buys crack!

I want the stripes too, but I'm waiting for my new hood, 4.10's, and nitrous so I can at least put up a good fight! lol

i like Red 5's ...go with the 9" or 10" ones...silver gonna look NASTY with black....so does white
