I saw a thread about this the other day... which really sucks. I'd buy a lightning if I could afford one.

Wow... if Ford ditches SVT and there are no more Fbodies then that leaves just the Vette as the American muscle car! Whats the world coming to???

That's a scary thought!

Although I like the 'vette, I would DIE if there was no more pony car.

They won't get rid of SVT. Let me rephrase. They better not get rid of SVT. And that is old news. We already knew the Lighting was getting delayed.

They might get rid of certain brands, but they will not get rid of the SVT Cobra.

From what i hear,John Colletti and his partner are retiring. It's quite possible that ford will halt production of all svt vehicles around the first of the year.
If you already own an svt then i would think that the resale value will increase like crazy.
Such bad news......

This makes me sick. Though it's old news, the thought of Ford WILLFULLY handing the sport truck crown to D**ge makes me want to puke. I've already written a letter to Ford concerning this terrible decision, and I encourage you all to do the same.
