UT04GT

I was on my way home today when I saw a truckload of 05 mustangs I eyed them for a bit then moved on. About 10 miles later I see 05 tail lights and I speed up to catch up. I see what look like police lights on top so I maneuver through traffic and get behind it. Turns out this is a 05 mustang GT pacecar with michigan manufacturer plates. The car was red with a custom paint job. On the rear quarterpanel it said Miami and some raceway name (I'm not up on the track names). It had what looked like police lights on top. I was actually impressed with the GT. I've seen the v6 and I wasn't really impressed. However, seeing this car was nice.

I gave the guy a thumbs up as I pulled beside him and he stuck with me for a good distance. I guess we were able to show a lot of people the differences in the 04 and 05 mustangs Anyhow, I was pleasantly surprised

When the SN95 models were introduced there was a big race at Atlanta Motor Speedway and they had 50 GT's lined up as pace cars. One for every different caution. Crazy huh?
