sounds like it is in a bine, just turn it with force the way the wheels are pointed and see if that will let you turn the key

don't beat yourself up too hard, that's happend to more people that you can imagine. LOL
I got tripped up once on a rental car that the shifter wouldn't go into gear on until I finally put my foot on the damn brake pedal and it released the shifter. damn safety interlocks!!!

actually isnt that a safety featureon all cars? i do it every once in a while and i just have to turn the key real hard and the wheels pops and its unlocked, ive had to help people at our grocery store who do that and are all freaking out cuz they think they broke their car or something lol its fun

yeah, it's another brillant federal beauracratic regulation that has probably killed more people than it has prevented cars from being stolen! you ever thought about how you would steer your car if the throttle stuck and you turned off the key to keep from blowing the engine? not such a fun thought now is it??? I just hope the air bag in my truck never goes off in my face by accident because I know I can't sue the dumbs**ts who made them mandatory equipment. the feds' ideas of trying to protect idots from themselves is taking it's toll on the rest of us out here, that's for damn sure!

not as bad as locking your keys in the car. did it once, when i came home late and tired. turned the radio off, air off, my routine. walked out the car and pushed the lock switch with the key in the ignition. car on, me out. pissed off. i had to call a locksmith to fish the lock open because i had done an antenna swap for a rubber one and too late to get out a coat hanger. embarassing. waste of time and money.
