2 races from a roll in which i missed gears both times, so yes I do suck....
Fixed it for you.....If your having problems shifting in a roll race.....I can just imagine how awlful you must be from a dig......Better stick to racing L98 Vettes or Tuned port IROC's if you want to go against GM, you might stand a chance with your shifting capabilities....
This thread makes my head hurt... I just read the last two pages.
What we know:
Bullits are slow, are not even in the vacinity of an LSx car stock.
The bears suck even if grossman wasnt the QB. You get overrated when you play in the joke of a conference called the NFC. They would have been lucky to make the playoffs in the AFC. I put every single AFC playoff team ahead of the bears minus the jets and probably 2-3 teams that did not even make the playoffs in the AFC.

If the Bears got Jeff garcia they might have a chance...Rex, is'nt just throwing picks now, he's fumbling the exchange from center and taking 10 yard sacks...lol.
Thats not showing improvement IMO.......Look for a QB change next year......Jeff Garcia might be throwing for the monsters of the midway...

I was under the impression that he played well through the season and most of the playoffs.. he just happened to have an off night on the big stage..
Manning didnt start off to well either though, but I think the ground attack they led helped free up some recievers.. and like the announcers were pointing out the WHOLE game, the Bears D was consitently willing to give up the 5-15 yard play over nad over to prevent the BIG ONES from happening, and in the end, it helped the Colts eat up far too much clock for the Bears to be effective with the ball

From my track experience I have seen stock LS1s run anywhere from 13.4s to 14.5s. Now this track isnt prepped so traction is a real issue. So i think it could be possible. So in mythbusters fashion I will rule this one plausible, but not practical.
if you see a 98-02 Fbody running 14.5 its a 3800 V6 with the Y87 package, or the LS1 is a 6 speed and was using the skip shift feature and missed 4th
o ya for sure. That sounds like fun. Let me just put my life on hold to go race you. Meet me at irwindale on sunday.
haha dont you have a kid and wife to attend to?
quit being dumb and just drop it.
damn, this thread is still going strong. sorry guys, i have homework and other stuff to do so i didnt get a chance to answer some of your questions. But for starters, if you look at the obvious sarcasm in my reply to that Mario kid and his offer to race, i think you can tell that i wasnt going to show up to race him. that shouldnt have been a big mystery to most of you that can read. Other then that, i think most of you guys like to talk trash to other people online, just because you can. I never once said i was quicker then a Z28, all i said was that i beat one. whether he was stick or auto, slow or fast, modded or stock, asleep or awake, it doesnt really matter to me. i posted the story because to me, it was a close race, in which it was obvious he was racing and i won. simple. that was all. Sorry to say it.
and another thing. That mario kid swears up and down that our two races were clean races. His own friend even admits that i missed a gear, which was third. Mario knows that i missed it too. i dont understand why he's acting like hard stuff online, and pretending like he doesnt kno whats going on, but i could really care less.
i dont know any of you, you all live far far away from me. i have a life outside of Mario and my bullitt and all the **** talking that goes on in here. so basically, go ahead and type away, join the bandwagon, and i'll check up on you guys when i get a chance in a bout a month or so. Later guys

Nope, it was a bone stock auto LS1. It was a 99 Z28. And yes it did run a 14.5. The track wasnt prepped that night so traction was an issue for everyone.
Bullit - Your profile says 'inland empire'. Do you ever race at tracks? Not being sacastic, just asking. I will be at Irwindale this week (it's thursdays BTW) and Perris on Friday. Both tracks should be within 30 minutes of you. I'm not calling you out because you don't have a chance against my car. I'd just like to see you run and get an idea how your car moves to base my opinion on.
I have the Blue Roush S197 everyone will be talking about.

I read all the attacks on him and offerred to see his car run so I could make my opinion on his kill story. I wanted to be clear and not appear to be calling him out. Everyone does talk about my car, so what? I put the money into it to make it that way and if you were at the track, your butt we would be drooling on the car too, so what?
Not being conceited, giving him directions to find me at the track.
