I just murdered a Bugatti Veyron last night by 3 car lengths. It would have been more, but it was at night and I had my pop-up lights on. I would have beaten him much worse if I had the lights down for aerodynamics.

Even after knowing that i missed third in that race, 2nd drag race of my life, and after missing 2nd in the first race.
2 races from a roll in which i missed gears both times, and now your the superstar....
I've got some accounting homework to do, along with some finance and other B.s. so im out of here, but you can write and rewrite comebacks and more B.S. that only you and your friends will be able to agree to.

speaking of reaction times...1.285 and .923? did you guys BOTH think that you were bracket racing against a slower car? and were those on a zero tree, or a 500 tree?
were you maybe next to the car when the lights started and you had to get into the car and get buckled in, then launch?

Atleast he doean't have a 2000 F-150 Ext cab 2WD with the ever so powerful V-6,5spd, 3.08 open diff combo. Sadly enough, thats what I have waiting for me in the parking lot. At least with the Mustang I can merge. With the 5000# 200HP truck, I have to look in the rearview mirror about 1/4 mile back for a place to land. And joy, it snowed....Did I mention the 2wd part?
My buddy has a new Kia Sedona minivan. We lined them up from a 50 roll. He put about 4 zip codes on me. I looked at my speedo....57. dammit

and i thought that i had the slowest winter beater here...i have an 83 ramcharger with a 360, 3 speed auto, and a 3.91 suregrip, everything stock. it used to run well, but now that it sits al summer, and then driven in crappy weather all winter, then back to sitting, its gotten tired.

Mine sits most of the summer too. It's still in pretty good shape but has 114K on it and burns the same plug up every 10-15K. I'm too cheap/lazy/disinterested to figure out whats wrong though. I just can't be in too big of a hurry to go anywhere.

Forget that I'm throwing in my name for the slowest DD. 98 Mirage Coupe with a 1.5 liter. Stock 92 hp and 93 tq. My clutch is pretty much shot. Lined up with my friend's 98 Corolla(1.8 liter) and got him off the line(reaction time) as soon as I shifted into 2nd he flew(not creeped but flew) pass me like a damn rocket ship I'm scared to pull into a major street because I can't get up to speed fast enough

Assuming your talking about a LS1 the reason nobody would believe you is because it shouldn't/couldn't happen.
If someone lost to your car with a LS1 Fbody they need to stop sleeping while driving. A grand total of 15-20 WHP in mods in a trumped up GT is not enough to take out a LS1 car.
ED- by reading his original post I'm sure bulletthead know's what the LS1 is capable of.
Bullitt-Not doubting your kill, but you ran across a noob or one sick LS1. But, a kill is a kill so enjoy this rare occasion... My car has 250hp to the wheel (according to my dyno sheet). which comes out to what? 300 to the crank?
the Ls1 that i raced has 310 to the crank but how much of that is to the wheel?
The Ls1 also weighs a good 200 pounds more and I have 4:10's.
Sooooo ya.
Have you been living under a rock for the past 3 years or do you not read the countless LS1 posts. 250 at the wheels? Wow - impressive. That should keep you within 4 or 5 cars of properly driven LS1.

It just seems odd that you miss gears on every race when you are racing me, but when you race ls1's and STI's you run very good.
If you really want to redeam yourself give me a call and we could have a roll race since you have trouble with your launch
