I stopped by the ford dealer up here in jacksonville to check out the new mustang and as soon as i pulled in i saw a ROW of them. Dont be too surprised though they were only V6's...9 of them. I got to looking at them and the salesman eventually came over and opened it up for me. Im not too sure about the interior, i guess it just takes some getting used to. After a while of looking at it he asked me if i wanted to drive it, i said sure even though i really wanted to get into a GT, but this would do for now. Its improved alot i must say but then again it should with almost half a liter bigger engine. Seems like it has MUCH better throttle response than older stangs (maybe thats just cuz my car is a 96 and has about the worst throttle response of any car ever made). It does have some balls and some serious torque for a V6, with a few mods here and there it would be a nice car, definately needs some exterior work though...ecspecially the hood, WAY too plain. Cant wait to get to drive a GT .

I went to go drive one tonight but they only had an automatic on the lot so I told the sales rep to give me a call when they get a manual in.

I do not like the interior at all. The outside is not that bad though.

You have to like the 60's style mustangs. The interior is like my 67 and the outside looks like my 65 Fastback. I love it and I'm saving up to buy an 05 GT.

I got to drive the new gt and its pretty nice. Im more partial to my 99 though. I hate the exhaust they have in them. Sounds gutless but thats always the first thing to go. Plus looks are decieving, they pull pretty good. I like the short throw, It only takes a flick of the wrist to work it through. The high arm wrest will take getting used to but the seats are way comfortable.
