Default Different color Louvers...

Hey, I know this might sound silly but does anybody have the 1/4 window louvers (sp?) in a different color than the body? All I've seen are matching ones. I have a torch red '07 with black racing stripes and was considering going with black window covers. Just a thought! Maybe somebody whose really good at Photoshop could show me how good/bad that might look?

Thanks! Go ahead, somebody out there has gotta think I'm nuts for even thinking about it. Ready to hear all opinions! Thanks again!

Black louvers would look good on red. I just got some louvers, but I also got a can of 07 Ford satin silver (TL) from automotive touchup. So I'll sand/primer/sand/paint/clear coat.
Haven't painted yet, been to cold in the garage.

Yeah, I've been thinking about painting mine black also. My stang is Vista Blue.
Has black kick panels under the doors.
Thinking about painting the lower part of my bumbers black too to match.
If/when one adds the louvers on the back they are usually black too.
You already have black pin striping and probably black mustang decals on the lower part of the doors. So I think black will look pretty good. Just make sure they are the same flat or gloss black as the stripes or the kick panels if they are black too.
I wish the forum guys would quit running those stinkin animated gifs so much. It messes with my typing!

Black louvers look good, IMO. But, it also depends upon what other appearance mods you have done, and how the black fits in with the theme.....

It would definetly (sp) be unique. I love the LL on the board with the black one.

The dealership I bought mine from had a used 05 on the lot the same color as yours with the same style black stripes. The previous owner added black side louvers and black rear window louvers. It looked pretty good from afar, but when you got up to the car it looked... I dunno, cheap... like cheap black plastic or something. Maybe they would have looked better without the rear window louvers or maybe it was inferior brand/style, dunno.
