i'd say do what feels right.  If you decided to do the stripes IMO i would go with the black.

Ew, dont do white wheels, thats rice.  Get chrome or brushed (like you have currently).  Painted wheels are gross. (unless its black, which wouldn't work here)  Blue stripes defenitely.

Why not blue stripes on a cobra?  07 Cobra GT500's got em.

get the color code of the stripes on the 07 GT500, and lay em down.  It'll look sick.

I run around with many guys from the MACA, and not one has stripes. Just a preference! It's your car, go ahead and put on stripes!

i'm still up in the air about the stripes....i think it look good both ways....being new to mustangs, i was wondering if stripes would be "wrong"  and was a little curious on why you had felt so strong about "not on a cobra".
I own a motorcycle shop....and there are certain things you DON'T do to certain bikes....(like brake/clutch lever fringes on a ducati 999), u can BUT IT'S NOT RIGHT....

i take this forums feed back pretty seriously....perhaps one day i'll have enough under my belt to help others out the way you guys have been helping me out...

Cobras are just one of those cars you don't need to mess with for styling. Go over to SVT Performance and check them out.

why would you hold off? do what you want to do, dont listen to people on the messageboards just causethey say so.  You could prove them wrong.  If you want to do stripes I'd say do it.  Like i said before the GT500 has em, I see no reason why to not put them on yours.

The only "not right" thing with mustangs is if you put a huge wing on the back.  Then you should be shot.

Also personally, I think our generation cobras (sn-95's) need a little extra to set them apart from just a standard GT or Mustang, besides a front bumper with foglights.  With the mods ive thrown on it so far (not pictured) I'm trying to make it look more exotic than anything, but still keeping the muscle feel.

Get the mods you want to get, just always keep something im mind: Muscle, not import.
Remember that and youll be fine.
