ok more like a shake. theres defenitally some vibration there. stuff inside(plastic trim parts) start rattling.

My Corolla used to vibrate just below 70mph...after new tires, balancing & alignment it went away..smooth to 100+mph now..lol..though it takes a while to get there. ;)

When's the last time you had the tires balanced? Just a thought..not sure if that would cause what you are describing, though.

I had a bad shimmy on the highway and the motorsport aluminum driveshaft was what fixed it.

I ONCE HAD A MUSTANG WITH A BAD SHIMMY BETWEEN 70 AND 80 MPH.....IT TURNED OUT THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD RUN NITROUS ON THE CAR WHICH BENT THE AXLES. ONCE I REPLACED THE AXLES THE SHIMMY MAGICALLY DISAPEARED FOR A WHILE. EVENTUALLY I HAD TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE CAR ONE PIECE AT A TIME AT A COST OF OVER $100,000 JUST TO MAKE SURE THE SHIMMY STAYED AWAY.
