Yea they look nice, too bad I already installed Magnaflow or I woulda considered them. Do you have any dyno or other comparison info to back up those bold claims? I've heard alot about the slp but Ive never seen or heard them before. Maybe someone can enlighten me
The only numbers we have officially are 30 Rear Wheel HP. over stock on a stock GT using the new SLP headers(to be released), X-pipe(to be released) and the Cat back. If you think about it though, its a straight through pipe
Sounds like a good deal, but an X-pipe will outflow straight pipes... Have any clips? I love the sound and performance of my Magnaflow system, but for some reason or another I want to try another system, pretty much just for the hell of it and maybe I will be even more pleased with it than I am with Magnaflow.
Dan02GT & 94kbscobra: I will see If I can get some sound clips. Dan02GT: You can still use an x-pipe. here are 2 that we will have w cats & with out cats(all stainless steel):
Ummm....SLP isn't that great.... They were once but now they have over streched there bounds. Don't get me wrong this system could kick some major a$$ but. I have alot of F-body friends and SLP is not something they like to see on a car unless it is an orginal 4th gen SS or Hawk. When GM gave them the ablity to branch into other areas the quailty and performance went away and the price went up, atleast for the F-body crowd. Once good but as of right now I would have to away from SLP on a ford. SLP was for GM F-bodies and that is where they should have stayed. My 2 cents. Sorry
I just have to disagree with you on that one. I have been working with SLP now for about 3 years and those statements are untrue. For the most part the parts they make that are clearly much higher quality then most other stuff out there for fbodys. Example: The Loudmouth for the Fbody is $345 retail ($349-$299 on sale sometimes). anything comparable to it runs $650-$800. Nothing comes close the the system for bang for the buck. There are some things they lack in like suspension stuff but they really know the there way around the intake/engine/exhaust department as well as body parts (hoods etc....). They made the SS and WS6 for GM. That says a lot about quality and I think that this will carry on to the Mustangs and Fords. The loudmouth they have for Mustangs are probably the best bang for the buck right now. All Stainless steal construction alone makes and the fact that it costs about half as much as similar systems. I hope this helps you a little and dont hessitate to ask me any more questions about this topic :) Oh yeah and I will still try to get some sound clips
