What do you think is the MOST horse power ever produced by an engine assembly. An engine assembly is one or more engines hooked together to form One unit.

What kind of engine? I've seen gas fired turbine engines that produce 17 megawatts(MW) which is about 23,000 hp. I've seen back up diesel generators that produce a more modest 2 MW, 2,700 hp. I'm not sure how much horsepower a deisel engine on a train produces, but its probably in the 2,000 to 3,000 hp range. Went ahead and looked it up. The most powerful engine produces over 100,000 hp. Okay what engine runs on Diesel, is started with a small rope, has a stroke of about two feet, a bore of 2 feet, no connecting rods, no crankshaft, no exhaust valves, and only three moving parts other than the single injector?
