Default sick of this fuc king bullsh!it; need to sell car...HELP

well, a couple months ago, i was on the verge of selling the car because of the unacceptable throttle lag. then i got a CAI/tune. MUCH better. or so i thought...........

this happens once in a while, probably once a day on average. im driving my car to the park, about 3 minutes away, im gonna make a left turn, i downshift/revmatch, stop completely, then make the turn. i'm now on a completely straight road, so i decide hey, lets have some fun. i floor it in first at 3200 RPM, the car's ultimate sweet spot. it doesn't respond at all like it should, barely responds at all. almost a full second later at about 5800 RPM it finally kicks in, oddly, so then im like "w/e, its just a little stutter"........powershift into second, really clean shift. the tires jerk, and spin a little bit, but like theres no power going to them. just the excess revs of the engine. when they finally catch, then the engine is accelereating slightly for about 3/4 second, then kicks in WOT.

by now im really pissed. so i make another left onto the next road i need to be on, and accelerate normally, this time trying from second gear at 40 MPH; what is usually another fantastic sweet spot. same **** again.

this happens once/twice a day usually, but at random times, this time it particularly pissed me off because i was trying to go WOT and it denied me completely. i checked everything, underhood and such, it's fine. its not the TSB thing because i definetly was not on any kind of cruise for more than a minute.

i reloaded the tune and havent had the problem since (on the 3 minute drive home).

but this is just ****ing unacceptable. i didn't give up my life savings and slave away 3+ years at 45 hours a week while not going out on weekeds for this ****. i can't ****ing believe it. i'm so dissapointed with this car right now; i cannot even put it into words. im disgusted. the stealership won't help me; theres almost zero chance ill be able to recreate the problem for them.

if i cannot find a solution within one month, and this bull**** doesn't stop, my car will go up on autotrader and i will be buying an LS1 Camaro; pending if my parents let me do that (the car isn't even titled in my name[:@][:@][:@]).

The engine is gaining rpms but the car isnt accelerating? If the engine rpm is raising quickly but speed isnt maybe you have a slipping clutch...........

nope, clutch is fine; i've tested it a ton of times. 5th gear at 85 MPH, floor it, no slippage.

+1 to a clutch problem. Is there any smell when this happens? I have had that happen in the past when the clutch isnt let out fast enough.

Sounds like a slipping clutch to me. Notice any bad burnt smells? If not talk to your tuner or maybe it is a bad trottle body, intermittent short, or any number of electrical problems. Sucks about the dealership not wanting to help. Could it be a fuel pump or fuel delivery problem?

never notice any smells; i've opened the windows and everything; thinking it was a burning clutch. but apparently not. and its not like the clutch is slipping; the RPMS always are consistent with the speed/feel.
