I'm sure alot of you know and have already have taken off or changed your stock tires. I have my 06 gt that came the pirelli tires. Well in case you haven't experienced it yet, they tend to hydroplane rather unexpectedly. I found this out last sat afternoon on the freeway home. I'm ordering some Nitto 555 this week. Keep a heads up if you get caught in a rain storm.

What brand did you have in mind? I had nittos on my truck for a while, the 450s and they were good. I realize this is a new animal so I'm open for opinions.
I just ordered Cragar chrome 18 x 9 rims for my 06 and needed to choose tires also. I'm also concerned about "wet" weather driving but not so much snow etc... I'd love some suggestions also. Thanks
I have 255/45-18 Nitto 555's on my '06. They've been a solid performer so far, wet and dry. They were a bit louder than the Pirelli's but I guess that's to be expected.
