Default s/c and exhaust question

Hey all,
I have 2 probably stupid questions for ya. First, How would I go about changing the psi on my s/c...i have 4-6 now and want 6-8 psi. Also, I just replaced my saleen standard x-pipe with a bassani (happy as hell by the way) and am wondering if that would affect the s/c in any way...the gauge seems to skip now. Thank you in advance!

a pulley swap is all you need for more boost, and exhaust mods tend to slightly reduce boost pressure since there's less back pressure
