I was not able to help out with this car.
My mentor did the work.

I thought some folks might be interested to see a 2003 Cobra with only 3,500 miles on the clock.

Thanks to Mike () for getting me setup with this one. He was also kind enough to bring the car here and also help out alot.  8)
The owner of this car just bought it, he is in his early 70s.  8)
The car needed some love for sure. Paint had a decent amount of oxidation, water spots and some light swirls. So yes only 3500 miles, but it sat either in a shop or outside for a while.
Mike asked the new owner not to wash it. Who knows how long it was since it was washed by the previous owner or if it ever had any wax on it.
Somehow the top was in decent shape, but there was no sign of any water beading at all on the top.

Interior carpet was not nice at all. All the trim had a nice coat of dust on it. No floormats in the rear.

Motor got:
light water spray
777 APC 1:4
After dwelling for 10 mins, light rinse.
Remove excess water with compressed air.
Scrubbed all wheel wells and tires with 1:4 777 APC
Wheels got PB SnR
Top got 303 fabric top cleaner via brush and rinsed till no sign of soap, then rinsed some more.
Washed body with dawn.
Brought the car inside and clayed with bodyshine #49 and blue magic clay. The paint was rough, but I have clayed worse.
Mike went to work on the interior.
carpets:
Vac and vac some more.
Folex and agitated with a MF were needed, extracted with ridgid
Mats were beat against a tree outside untill most of the sand/dirt was gone.  :D Then folex and extracted with ridgid.
Trim and leather got 1:10 777APC wipedown
Trim got 303
Leather got Duragloss leather treatment.
Mike kicked some major ashe and got the interior looking great!!!!

Exterior:
All paint got HTEC/OP via white LC VC pad at 1500
Hood and trunk got 106ff/RMG via Green P2 pad at 1300
Top got 303 fabric treatment.
50/50 wipedown
3x Z5pro
Z8
Black trim got PB TR
Tires got Z-16 2x
My final pics below and all the pics above were taken with my Canon S2.

Mike took these pics with his Rebel XT

Looks like very high quality work.  I checked out the other vehicles that you guys did, everything looks awesome!  What kind of rotary are you using?  Do you guys do this for a hobby or for a living?

Thank you for your kind words.

A group of us do this as a hobby and to make a bit on the side.
I got into it after I personally saw the differences Bryan made in my car.
He has been a great help in teaching me the art.

I don't have a rotary yet - I keep waiting for the price to drop again.
Bryan runs the rotary mostly.  It is the Hitachi SP18VA.  It is a great, light machine.
I've seen your work and you too do a great job.

The Hitachi is great.  That is what I have.  It is so much quieter and lighter than the old Dewalt I had.  It is really worth the money.  I also have a Cyclo and Porter Cable that I use a lot too.  I'm been thinking about buying a Metabo for a while now.  It is supposed to be the best of the best when it comes to rotaries.  They are pretty pricey though.
