Greetings everyone.
I spent yesterday (Friday) with a couple of buddies.  One had just gotten the new Dodge Charger SRT-8 Super Bee.
We got together for a detail session and some pizza.

I got to go for a ride in the car.  All I can say is WOW.
Lots of power with the 6.1 Hemi and lots of torque.
We had a couple of spirited sprints and I was planted "firmly" in my seat.
Lots of nice details to the car too like the yellow baseball style stitching on the black leather seats and steering wheel.

All three of us worked on the car and it took about six hours or so, taking our time, chatting, and breaking for lunch.

The car was lightly swirled and with just a few hundred miles on the clock.

Claybar.
Lots of folks ask about using a claybar on a new car.  Generally the best way to tell is to do the "baggie" test.
This was the newest car I have worked on.
This car got clayed and it was AMAZING the contamination that was removed from a brand new car.
We slipped up and did not get any pictures of the claybars, but you could see the junk in the clay.

Here is the car and the processes used as posted by my detailing mentor.

quote:

A big thanks to Jim for coming over and helping out. Jim ran the PC on all the vertical panels and helped apply the LSP.  8)
What we got here is the new addition to the Woosch Hemi stable.

Horz panels polished with white CCS pad 1500 ZPC
Vert panels polished with white LC VC pad PC 5.5 ZPC
Flat black decals no polishing
3x ZFX'd Z5pro on paint/glass, just 1x on flat black decals.

As usual we where loosing light outside, so here are some pics after ZPC polishing:

After 3x ZFX'd Z5pro and CS. Yes CS applied over the flat black decals with no problems, no wipedown required. Sorry for the crappy inside pics.

Chris took these pic this am after a Z6 and a Z8 wipedown:
