Does it affect street driving (curves)? I'm not sure about the GTs.... I'm betting you could safely do 12psi, but the tune would be criticial, since the GT does not have a steel block or forged rods like the V6 does, making it more vulnerable to detonation. Functionality-wise, the TT is incredible. It does an excellent job of distributing power... instantly. My only gripe (if you can even call it that) is the noise it make during operation. I wasn't even aware of the "TrueTrac shuffle" until I installed LCAs, though. It does not affect driving in curves at all. The tracks here in Colorado suck. They close early in fall and open late in Spring. The only track I've gone to is PMI in Pueblo. They do a HORRIBLE job of prepping the track. I already had the TT in place when I made my first run, so I don't have a prior ET to compare it to... sorry. I did pretty piss-poor, I had a corrected ET of 13.8. That was back when I had 9psi and 321 RWHP. I'm sure it would've been worse with the peg-leg, though. For a stock GT, the benefits of a TrueTrac would be a more durable rear end and not having to rebuild it after so many miles (the TT is totally gear-based... no clutch packs). Hope this helps...

I'm sure he meant iron block, I've spoken enough with Flapjack to know that he is aware of that. Probably a typo. The GT does not have forged rods. Ford used cracked powdered metal rods for the Mustang GT.

Yeah, I was typing too fast with too many other things on my mind. Meant to say iron. A steel block would look sweet, though, it wouldn't be as tough. :) As far the GT goes, I'm 99% sure they use powdered rods. Our engines don't take detonation well because of the piston composition and the ring landings. The GT adds the weakness of the rods and aluminum block. I've seen pics of many a punctured GT block. None of the V6 so far (don't take that as a challenge, John and Todd.... hahaha)

Oh yeah, where's illegal1984's retort?? I'm dying to see what his engine looks like. Another reason to wave the bulls|t flag... I can't imagine someone having that much more N/A HP than anyone else on the various Mustang boards and not having a dyno sheet to back it up. Bull<cough>sh|t<cough>.... By the way.... LOVE that hood, forensicsteve. How much did it cost you?

Uh oh......is it that time of the month again for you illegal. I've been around this forum way longer than you and know an infinte amount more about the internal combustion engine than you. You know what...I'm not even gonna fight with you. I'm gonna act like an adult and ask you a couple question: 1. Post pics of your stang? 2. Are by chance from the cobalt forums? 3. How did you figure the number 260whp? max hp with bolt ons is 210-220 at MAX. 4. Did you dady touch you when you where a child? Modding 101 for you noob: When you put mods on your car you can't trust company hp numbers and you can't just add horsepower like that. There is more to it than that. Oh and to speak for flapjack, he has stage 3 heads w/ cams and is blowning i think 12psi. He hasn't gotten a dyno yet but he did get 360whp BEFORE HIS HEAD SWAP. So before you flame people you need to go check your info. Now its time for you to go to bed little boy.
