Default 90GT Speaker wire question

Hi, General stereo question
I need a little help locating the speaker wires for a 90 GT that had the stereo stolen before I bought it. The wiring loom into the what was the factory unit is a little butchered.

1..It looks like there is an amp thats sitting on the centerhump way up front towards the firewall.
2..would all the speaker wires run to this amp? if it was one?...(6 speakers in the car.)
3..if this is where the speaker wires run to....is it possible to disconnect them at this amp and just connect to new stereo?
Thanks...

Oh boy. Sorry about this, it sucks! Anyway, time to break out the test light (as mentioned on several posts week or two back) and gain access to all speakers, amps, and wire ends at all locations. Check the color of wire against all ends and figure out one by one. You may also go to Ford dealer and ask for a color breakdown of wiring used in stereo. If you are real nice, counter person will spend 1/2 hour figuring it all out and maybe print you a copy of schematic.

no no no

that amp will make it easy.

There should be two cables going in and out. if you follow one it will go up to a black rectangular 8-pin hrns that is connected back behind the glove box. If you disconnect it that is a standard for speaker hrns (70-1770) and has all your speaker outputs on it. More then likely it has not been cut as most people do not know this easy way to bypass it.
