05 Mustang Info please
Hello All, I am new to this site and to this newer model Mustang world. I have a 05 Saleen s281 standard with no Supercharger, it looks like most of the people here who have Saleens are at least supercharged and most are more. I want to do some minor mods just small bolt-on stuff to make it move a little quicker. Is there anyone who might have a few suggestions? I have an old 69 mach, and a 70 chevelledrag racingcar that isnt much fun to drive daily any more, noisey, gassy,tempramental, so I don't want to make this car a pain to drive or cause any reliability problems. I plan on keeping it for a long time. I have seen a few people with cold air intakes and different exhausts but no one has said what kind of gains they have gotten with these mods. It looks like I may be spending a bunch of money on tires since they are different sizes and I thought I might match the rear tires to the fronts to make them rotate but I am not sure about the wheels even allowing this. I guess you can say I am kind of lostwhen it comes tomy new toy. I don't know what thetop speed is supposed to be, I heard itwasgoverned at 157. .How many were made in 2005? I will keep looking around for info but if anyone wants to send info or opinions I will listen,
